savatage?

did they get the band name from the sava tune? do they sound anything like them?

I don't know if they got the name from the Savatage song (maybe one of the band members can answer that), but they sound nothing like Savatage. I would describe their sound as heavy melodic progressive with fusion influences. The Fates Warning influence is also very noticeable. Still, they have an original sound that separates them from many of the somewhat generic bands in the progressive genre.
