Of all places just a couple block from my house they were holding auditions for teh new reality series "Super Nova" a new super group fearturing Jason Newstead,Tommy Lee,Gilby Clarke & a yet to be named singer wich this reality show is based on. a large but suprisingly not too large group of hopefuls & not a chance in hell hopefuls were lined up down the street.A friend of mine the very talented Boudeeka http://www.boudeeka.com she does a great Janis Joplin & has her own online network for female musicians(the Maidens should hook up with her)
Anyways Jason being the local boy was there & we did an interview with him getting the scoop on this new reality show.He & his new bandmates will be writing & recording their debut album as this competition goes on along with it's release will also be the release of the first single coinciding on the final airdate of the show's concluding episode.
Also Voivod will have their 14th album released in June featuring 13 unreleased songs written by deceased guitarisy "Piggy".
