Stuff sold extremely cheaply is most likely stolen property, so be careful.

BUT, if you bought it under the impression that it was legit then the only thing that could happen to you is authorities would confiscate the property as evidence against the seller. If they have no way to prove that you knew it was stolen and bought it under those pretenses, no biggie.

i thought the same thing, but it looks like it's a neck-thru construction...i don't know how hard it'd be to swap necks on it, but i wouldn't want to bother, personally

Swapping necks on a neck-thru seems like it would be genuinely impossible, since the neck is the entire core of the body - however, most PRS's are set-neck/set-thru, so that would be doable...
