Sea of Lies - Interlude

Does anyone else find this part difficult to play? (guitar)

I worked on it for a few hours yesterday and got it down, but it is still hard. I can play it at normal tempo cleanly probably 1 out of 4 tries.

The hardest thing for me to learn was how to mute the g-string when leaving it to move to the e. I kind of use a rolling technique with me right hand, almost like a sweep with the right hand. rolling it down and up, kind of like the left hand does during a sweep. I also have trouble with the transitions sometimes. But once committed to memory, I can do it. Pain in the ass though man!

The tapping solo, I presume? Yeah, that shit is damn hard, but at least I mastered the full Damnation Game intro.

speed is the key to playing the sea of lies interlude correctly. Watch the guitar chapter, Romeo plays it in half time and you can really see the difference when he plays it up to speed. Another cool solo to play is the damnation game solo, lots of tapping.

That's exactly how I got it down, was by watching the video and looking at the fingering and stuff. Once you get into the groove it is just killer!

You can get them off of sharing programs like Kazaa.....now if only I had a faster internet connection.........

Got it with WinMX. It is in DivX format. It looks and sounds good, but it has Japanese subtitles...no big deal though.
