Now, I've always thought the Japanese to be precise and efficient. I'm just curious as to why, after all these years, they still need to research the contents of a whale's stomach, or it's body weight. I think the relevant data has already been gathered.

I hope Sea Shepherd gives them hell this year, especially after they were rammed last year.

I think what they are trying to do is a pretty good thing. Im not even close to being a vegetarian, i eat steaks so much im surprised im not mooing yet. I had a band stay here a while back and they were all vegan, I thought I was being nice in the morning and got bagels and cream cheese. Turns out they had to decline because of the cream cheese, I dont know how vegans can live like that. And that day is how I learned the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Always thought it was the same thing.
