I mixed Sear's second album Lamentations of Destruction few months ago. It's pretty fast stuff and the band wanted a "raw, yet modern sound". I think it came out pretty good. Some photos from the drum recording sessions can be found here.

i'm not so good to point anything wrong but i think the snare could be raised up a bit. kick is nice i liked it!! good band too...i didnt like the vocals tho
willing to share what was used?

btw how's dauntless going? i hear to some samples i think from ur site... very nice man and enjoyed reading the studio report, the recording turned out pretty good!
