Sebastian Bach- Angel Down

I have listened to a little over half the album. Bach seems to be screeching and screaming a lot of his vocals. Not sure why he went with this style quite a bit. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the album holds up. But so far the vocals just aren't doing it for me because of the style.

I bought this over the Christmas weekend and I have to say it's killer! I'm very pleased with this effort and I hope it's a taste of what's to come. I could've done without Axl Rose though, so that's the only negative I have to point out. Otherwise, it should kick your ass if you liked Subhuman Race whatsoever.

I am on the fence with this album. I think I need to check it out first. Rolling Stone gave it a decent review saying the greatness is present on the first half of the album whereas the second half to them sounded like a continuous song with a lot of repetition. Bas is a great guy though and I have met him many times over the years since my cousin used to sing for Severed Hand (Bas' sons band). I know this album debuted within the Billboard Top 200 so good for him he deserves it.
