I see that IE is going to have a 2nd leg of their US tour. Does anyone have any insight or guess as to who the opening band(s) might be?

According to www.setuppresents.com, legendary British metallers SAXON will OPEN for Iced Earth on the second leg of the American tour (basically June), well at least the June 15th date at Sarartoga Winners, in upstate NY. Also on the bill are the Boston area's BEYOND THE EMBRACE.

It's pretty much a moot point. I hear Saxon is not able to make this tour.

But for the sake of argument, I can't think of too many countries where Saxon WOULDN'T open for Iced Earth besides Britain and maybe Japan.

Saxon should open for nobody. They are fucking SAXON. All should bow before them, except Priest. Nobody but Priest should be booked over Saxon. It's just heresy against the metal gods.
