Ha! For some reason 22 Acaccia Avenue by Iron Maiden pops to mind here! Although I think the track list would have worked nicely to see Virgin Street 69 followed by Scent of a woman!

After hearing more stuff from these guys last night, "command of mistranslated English" or not these Italian boyz can play!

The first time I saw those names, my eyes automatically drew to Virgin Street 69. LOL. They have a sample on there now in the samples section if any of you want to listen to it. Its interesting but I like the song they put on the main page flash better. I hope this one turns out pretty well, the cover is certainly interesting enough and I really enjoyed their last album.

Got to say I am a bit disapointed in that SS song, I was hoping they would expand on A Time Never Come, from that sample it doesn't seem like it. Here's to hearing the rest of the album before making any further judgements.

I'm sort of liking it, though I liked it better before it hit the weird time signature on the bridge. -A Time Never Come- is almost too dense in spots for my taste, so I'm enjoying a slightly simpler and crisper sound from them.

It will be interesting to hear the full album.

You know, I decided to listen to that sample song a few times over again. And I'm actually kind of liking it a lot now. It seems like the reason why I had weird feeling about it the first time is because the style seems a bit different from their previous albums. Their first two sound quite similar in style, this song feels like its a break away from it, yet keeps some of the peices that still make them "who they are". The singing, in my opinion, is better and the music in the song has an interesting feel to it.

I think its just one of those songs that you have to listen to more than once to appreciate it. Sometimes things like that happen where you have to take a look back at something again to be quite sure. But I hope the rest of the album is pretty good.

You know, I warned Aldo there would be a backlash against having this song title stay as is on the album hehe. BUT, the good news is, the tune itself kicks ASS. So, in this case, substance overrides outer appearance . It starts out like a Hard Rock based tune and slowly morphs into this freakin Prog Metal/Power Metal juggarnaut, then back to this Hard Rock vibe again, and HEAVY. Great tuneeee!

Are you talking about the street name one? I heard that is how they address their streets over there. With the number after the name. And who can not smile at a title named "Virgin street 69???" I know I couldnt help it when I read that the first time. Hopefully it will sound pretty good as a song.

I have only heard a handful from the new one, some reminded me of AWAKE era Dream Theater. Heavier, more mature. I can't remember if I said it here or not, but I explain it as: the progression you heard from Mistress to Time Nevercome, this new one is the same progression from Time Nevercome. It's going to kick some ass!
