We're about to send this song off for a master, and we'd like to make the mix as tight as possible before doing so. Any advice would be good from an outside set of ears, we've been working on this mix for a very long time so we've done about as much as we can without other's opinions.

For those interested my band is This, My Vendetta.

Thanks for your time :)

I'm not sure what the rules are for bumping here, but it's been a few days and I've noticed the downloads jump from 5 to 50, so I'd appreciate some feedback on this.

mix sounds really REALLY dry? no verb anywhere lol? guitars could be more in your face louder and need more gain are you using an amp sim? yeah the more i listen it sound liek the bass and drums are in the right place same with the vocals but the guitars need work.

Definitely liven up the drums and re-work some of the velocities. And I would run back through it and do some general volume automation. The drums don't move but everything else is dropping a couple dbs here and there. I love the vocal processing. diggin the song too.

Guitars need more balls & clarity... Give the snare some verb... & the drums overall are have no room tk them they are just in your face.

Sounds pretty good. My main gripe is the levels. The drums sound great, but they are killing everything. Guitars need to come way up. I'd also work on your guitar EQ's. Here's a pretty good starting point for metal guitar EQing- High pass at around 70-90hz. Then cut it way down at around 800hz with a pretty low Q. Cut it a bit at around 3k-4k. Then find the "sweet spot" (usually anywhere between 5.5k and 8k) and boost it up a good bit. Then low pass it at 12k. If you feel like you are lacking lows, try bringing it up a bit at around 350. Play around with it, and see what you get.
