Selling a Ticket

Firstly I don't know if this is against the rules.

I've been dropped in it at the last minute by a mate who can't come, so I'm selling a ticket for the Manchester show.

I'd really hate to see it go to waste.

As long as your not selling it to make a ridiculous profit, I can't see why not. Just sell it at the the price you paid for it or maybe a little bit cheaper. That way your not really scalping, being respectful to Opeth and not wasting your money.

The same has in fact happened to me, but it's even worse since it's tonight's show in Birmingham so I can't offer it to anyone online. I'll probably have to end up selling it to one of those "buying and selling tickets" chaps, any idea how that works? I've never done it before, usually steer clear of them.

Just go ahead and offer it to somebody. there must be some people that try to get a ticket there. but who wants to stand in front of the hall and yell out for people trying to sell the ticket. lame

I didn't want to make a profit on it, it's not about that, I'd just like to make back the money I spent on it. The buy now option is £21.00, which is about £1.15 more than I paid. I'd have just set it as the retail price but my sister did the advert for me while I was at uni (bless her she's not great with computers), plus I'll pay the postage.

some help please, if one of you guys is going to the Manchester shwo you could buy it off me and sell it on the door. It'd pay for a few drinks inside.
