It's been a really long time since I last posted here. Just a few weeks (almost two months ago), I had been to as many as four rock concerts in my city, and if the scene is anything to go by, the fans here thrive on thrash and death metal. Lots of bands influenced by Slayer (one too many), a few death bands, a band influenced heavily by Machine Head (this one's a famous band here), a near-industrial act performing a StaticX cover at all gigs. And of course, there are the veteran thrashers Sceptre, worth a mention.
Now there's big news for all thrash and death fans here. Sepultura are coming to Mumbai on 1st April this year. This will be a first, in more ways than one, and while they may not get as much attention as Iron Maiden, who are (sadly not here but) coming to Bangalore, there will be a lot of action out here. Fans are wishing, Slayer comes in the month after and then Lamb Of God. Now I ask: And Testament? When is the tour of India coming? If it is? They'll fit in nicely here.
