Sepultura's Best Album?

1. Schizophrenia
2. Beneath The Remains

Most of the songs on Schizophrenia are quite creepy. Beneath The Remains is an intense album but I think Schizophrenia is better.

Morbid Visions is not bad but it is rather juvenile.

I guess you could say that but I never had a problem with "juvenile" metal, I like its simplistic and honest approach. Metal from the heart and that's where it should always be coming from.

Schizophrenia is a far better release IMO from start to finish than Beneath the Remains which in contrast really dips in form on the second side.

Yeah, when I said juvenile I did not mean it in a completely derogratory way. This album is pretty raw and unpolished but yes, at least it is honest. I think not only in music but in other forms such as poetry or sculpture etc. , many start losing that fresh approach after doing it over a long period of time. One might become technically good but you lose that joy and freshness when one started. Interestingly, in Japanese there's the expression that literally translates to English as "To start back from one's starting spirit". It means one should do some craft or activity, like starting over as if you just started.

Yes, Schizophrenia is superior to Beneath The Remains.
