Server Speed

I think UM has generally been a bit faster for me... Cause I'm generally not awake when you yanks put the most load on the server I think. Still, it's been excruciatingly slow at times, and that's gone for now...

Have you all noticed a speed improvement with surfing UM.com?

indeed, i seldom have to wait more than a few seconds to post or enter forums, let's just hope it remains this way and we'll be all smiles and gay acclamations

When is the busiest time for UM anyhow? For months I've had problems get anything to come up (even that accursed Database Error page wouldn't load up) around midnight -7 GMT.

It's always slowest at lunchtime (1-2pm EST) for me. But hot damn, this thing is working at the speed of thought now!

SWEET! I couldn't be more pleased with how well the new server runs. <FLEX> This Quick reply and broken images thing should fix itself anytime now when the name resolves. For some it is already fixed.
