Setlist in Ruisrock?

Thanks. Any comments about chickenpox? :erk:

Mikael appeared to be in perfect health. He still had few fading chickenpox lesions, but you couldn't really see them even in the front row.

The gig itself was solid and no-nonsense, and the band played 2 or 3 songs virtually without any break letting the music speak for itself. Then Mikael joked a bit about Opeth hitting number 1 on the Finnish charts and commented on the contradiction between Heir Apparent and the gig setting (a beach). When he referred to the people swimming, he used the expression "naked bodies floating in the water"

There were surprisingly many Opeth fans present and people shouted at the presenter who came to the stage after Opeth had finished. His words were muffled by an intense "Opeth!" chant that lasted several minutes :kickass:

Opeth peaked number 1 on the Finnish charts? I didn't know that, but just checked and it's true! They are still number 22.

What a great gig it was... I personally would have prefered The Lotus Eater to Heir Apparent, but all in all, I'm satisfied. Mikael looked a bit spotty but he'd recovered well.
