Not sure the myspace sound does them any favours. It sounds a bit weak but the songs sound quite good. Typical Germanic melodic power metal with decent vocals.
I got a promo pack from these guys. It was not bad but not really my kind of stuff. The promo package however was awesome. Every band should include this in their promo packs, it does make an impression.
The rest of the package was also actually really well put together don't see that often.
I always meant to contact the band and at least thank them for the Jager, I lover Jager but I never got to it. Here's to you gentlemen
Following on the morals in metal thread what about this for a vid! They've got a dancing girl in the background doing fuck all apart from gyrating and acting sexy for the camera. Seems strange for a non female led power metal band to use sex as a selling point though I'm not really sure that's their aim in this case but it just seems ludicrous. Still being the sexist pig that I am, I'm not actually complaining!
I love the fact that they have one of the best Scandinavian vocalists (Erik EZ from PLATITUDE) singing on the album, but are using a stand-in for the video clip ... what the heck??!!?!?!?!
Seriously? Dude... I thought the vocals were very good... and the music as well, that's why I brought it into Nightmare...so the guy in the vid isn't the one singing?
Nope! The guy in the video is NOT Erik EZ (ex singer of Platitude, and current singer of Ki). I am good friends with Erik, talk to him often, and he even sang one of my radio show intro's.
I have no idea who is in that video but he's pulling a milli vanilli haha.
The dude in the video is Mik Holm, who is one of the main composers of the band. He doesn't actually play any instrument (as far as I know), but, as stated, he contributes with songwriting and backing vox.
