True, but I was a kid when Chuck was a kid.

I listened to a clip again, and granted, they're not bad at all... but I prefer other bands.

Oh man, you guys...you guys are so much fuckin' fun, you know that? Don't ever change.

Shadows Fall is pretty decent, but the best metal today is still being made by the bands that were cutting their teeth in the biz when I was growing mine. There are some good modern bands (Iced Earth, Nevermore, The Haunted, Strapping Young Lad, Blind Guardian, and Amon Amarth come to mind)...but overall, today's major metal trends are melodeath crap, symphonic metal crap, cheesy power crap, and Opeth. We need more bands that live and die by the Almighty Riff...damn you all for being there in the glory days, whereas I have to sit through In Flames, Rhapsody, and Hammerfall.

Blitz is giving Chuck a bit of competition for best thrash singer, especially since he seems to be getting better with age, whereas Chuck can't shriek like he used to. But hey, they're both fucking awesome.

Man 2 weeks ago I had the luck to see Overkill and Amon Amarth on the same billing ... they both were fuckin´ awesome ...

Have you heard the band called Construcdead? Not all melodic death metal is bad, it's just that Soilwork and In Flames have butchered their old sound for a more "poppy" sound.
