I just listened to the whole album via the bands myspace yesterday! It is awesome! Just the kind of power and hooks I have come to expect from Shadowside and they did not disappoint.
I thought it was interesting that on a few tracks Dani toys with some less aggressive vocal styles. I found that new style to be a pleasant addition to this album. Don't worry, she's not switching to opera or anything, just a few tracks that have some good singing in there along with the strong belting that I love to hear from her.
Granted, I was listening to the album through my dinky little laptop speakers and nothing can beat blasting an album like this through your home stereo, but you can still tell that it is a solid album. The song writing is good and the riffs are heavy. I will definitely be picking this up once it's released.
