I have a t-shirt submitted to threadless.com but I need a ton of votes in the next 7 days for it to actually get up and get printed.

I had friends doing this ages ago and every time you'd vote it would opt you back into their spam lists. I tried now using the Facebook login and it wanted permission to post to my wall just to vote. Meh...

Everything you log into with FB asks that, it's just so the in-site windows they have for sharing to FB and Twitter can post to your account when you click on the like button etc.

You could always sign in with FB, allow it, vote, then un-allow it
