24 frets, a slim unpainted neck (only clear coat), Floyd, split-able rail pick-ups, alder body and a metallic finish on an Explorer(!) with a classic shape (I can't stand the EX too) at that price was just too tempting.
Was a great guitar for the price but I finally sold it when I got my first Caparison back then IIRC. It just didn't get that much use any more mainly because the neck heaviness drove me bonkers when playing while standing up. Playing while sitting was very comfortable though because you can rest your arm nicely on that back horn.
