Didn't know about this DVD at all until minutes ago. I love the band's last album and like the one before. I saw them live and was a little bit disappointed they couldn't fully recreate the studio sound especially vocally speaking. However judging by the quality of this live clip they sound shit hot on this occasion. The sound is superb and the band is tight and most of all Brent Smith's vocals sound astounding! Studio trickery or real live singing? I am not so sure. To be honest I don't care that much - I want quality product and it looks like this DVD is that and then some.

Yep very close to Alter Bridge although I like all three AB albums but Shinedown only really got good with the last album IMO but it was a huge album indeed.

I disagree actually I think their first album is their best Leave a Whisper, its just got great song after great song, their new album is very good but there are some fillers in there but it does have a some of my favorite tunes on it as well...Second Chance, The Crow & The Butterfly & If You Only Knew.... I just think their debut came out with a bang and dudes vox on that album are freaking amazing, but again they are on all the albums...

Are they making a new album right now or what?
