Shopping in Osaka

I have a friend who's going to Osaka in September and I'm of course going to make him look for rare Japanese editions of my favourite albums (oh yes I will ).

The question is, is it hard to find places selling semi-rare metal (i.e. not just Metallica or Iron Maiden) in Japan?
Anyone actually from Osaka?

Osaka rocks!

I'm not from Osaka, but there's a good music shop called "Disk Heaven" in America-Mura (American Village) , Shinsaibashi.

Most of the text are in Japanese, but the address is written in English, so I think you can read it And pleae do check out their huge stock!! It's unbelievable!

There's also great rock bar called "Rock Rock" near the Disk Heaven. It's really nice place, and almost all of the rock musicians (especially metal musician) visit the bar.

and everytime i take fellow metalheads from overseas to Disk Heaven, they would go freakin nuts looking at the walls filled with rare CDs. that place is surely one heaven for metalheads!
