id try to get more of the vibe that this song / album has.
yours sound very itb and flat / 2 dimensional.
especially the guitars. try a/bing your mix and try to match
1. depth (reverb/delay/room) on drums and guitars.
2. watch your presence. over equalizing your instruments makes your mix harsh
and unattractive for the ear.
>> try a voxengo curve eq of the original,
apply that to yours. youll immediately see, what exactly your problem is.
might be in the presence and also lower midrange.

Edit:: I was listening on some weird speakers. I dig the style, but the mix sounds pretty sterile.
