Yeah, pretty much the same SoloC-8505 chain that Erik posted, but with a bit more highs, I think the Impulse was Ryans "s-pres8" Impulse.

Indeed, a nice tight sound, what do you use to load impulses anyway?I use something but it gives me random dropouts (Voxengo Pristine Space), also when I mixdown... it's really gay, so I'd have to get something else.
One thing: the synth/strings and guitars together give some bad tuning sound to me together, I think your guitars are lower then the synth/strings like most of the time happens... One easy way to fix is detune the synth/strings in your vst app (if you use one ofc) but you probably knew that already

I use Voxengo Boogex for Impulses and yeah the strings were just rough.

I think it was either Ronnie or Lasse that uploaded them originally, so thanks to them!

And I blended in the samples 100%, the snare and kick you're hearing in that clip is 100% those samples.

Oh, and sorry Jaymz, I forgot to mention that you helped me out with bass again, seriously this man has teh skills when it comes to bass tone! And he's a pretty good bass player too! I barely have to do anything with the bass to get it to fit right in the mix.

Hey thanks a lot for those samples. I wasn't aware of them and I'm sure they come handy! Thank you.
And yep, it sure sounds nicer, more middy, but it's just and just. Maybe a bit more treble, but not so much than the first?
It sounds home-made but same time better than the orginal.

Yeah, I'm going to look into tweaking that today, and the kick as already mentioned is the Tama Starclassic sample that I linked above for Bob.

Pristine Space isn't freeware. If you pay for it, the dropouts will be gone
Or just use Boogex.
