Advice on this drum tone please.

Sounds great man, especially that kick, goddamn! Not a fan of the ring on the snare, though maybe it'd disappear in a mix. Also, the toms are a bit boxy; tbh, though, I'm not the best for giving feedback on totally raw drum sounds because I have very little experience working with them, so I can't be too confident in judging whether they'd be workable after mixing (especially toms ). Any idea what all he used?

No, that ring is perfect on the snare. These drums sound awesome, now find out the details on how he got them there/what kind of drums/mics/eq/comp. GO!

Well, since its processed it could do with some work. I thought it was a raw tone and you really can't improve upon that as a raw tone, but as a processed tone:

Kick is fantastic but quite loud.
Snare is kinda low in the mix, could do with some more low-end too.
Toms needs a scoop in the 400hz area, especially the floor tom.
