Not actually being a Yorkshireman myself I am inclined to agree with you
If you guys thing Andy is hard to understand have a listen to some Indie, like the Arctic Monkeys or something.

I think the hardest accent i've ever had to deal with is county cork in eire (southern ireland). It's just far too fast and almost every syllable sounds like "heeh" or "hih"
I seriously found myself listening to someone for 30 seconds and being forced to just say "yes?" because i couldn't even pick out a single word. Took some getting used to but i managed after a few days

Hahahahahaah, jesus Mark I dunno, that second one I had no trouble (I can't imagine anyone would) but the first I think was hard just cuz he was using lots of random weird terms and expressions, which is a bit different than the thick accent (although interesting to hear Canadians aren't the only ones who say "aboot" ) Who are the Geordies, anyway?

its a durham accent in our area like, darlo is durham/tees its similar but not as broad i guess! but other ppl in the country always say that its still geordie...tut tut tut
