2-12-04: Cannibal Corpse, Hypocrisy and Exhumed...fucking sweet

5-11-04:Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Malamor....best show of my life!

The latest gigs I attended were Edguy / Brainstorm / Nocturnal Rites in Lyon (Brainstorm winner!) and the Keep It True II festival in Germany (standout shows of Manilla Road and Attacker).

How was Edguy Fang? I'ma Huge fan and will be seeing them at ProgPower V
They were pretty good, at least better to me than on the previous tour.
I must add that I'm not really an Edguy fan anymore, I used to love them when "Vain Glory Opera" came out, it was fresh at the time. They've gone downhill since in my opinion.

But if you like their latest stuff, you'll probably love the show, and the stage setup is very nice I must say.

KISS last night!

This was my 5th KISS show, best I've ever seen them. They are SO in form its just not funny. I see no reason for them to give it up now. They played tighter & heavier than they have since before the reunion tour, the setlist was the best since the Revenge days and totally different to the recent tours, they changed around where all the pyro & theatrics are to keep it fresh, energy & crowd participation levels were the highest I've ever see, it was UNREAL! Can't wait to go again tonight and tomorrow night!

damn i wanted to go to that c.o.b and iced earth show here in houston but i saved my money for suffocation and dying fetus, but then again that show was so fucking amazing i dont even think bodom could have topped it

Early April I have been to the Headway festival in Amstelveel. It's a progmetal/rock festival.

Line up:

Watchtower
Ice Age
Death Machine
Laberinto
Ephel Duath
Mister Kite
Textures
Anand
Xenobia
Karma
Sieges Even
Biomechanical

Highlight for me was Sieges Even. I am a big fan of this band. Their "A Sense of Change" album is my all time favorite album. I had to miss Watchtower because I got sick. :(

A few day's later I saw the Dutch band Sun Caged in Den Haad play an exellent set. :worship:

exodus rr party

How was bodom/earth show?
I am not shure if I want to go this monday, I didnt like ripper owens but I heard he got better at singing.

Well, the last one I went to was on October 7th, for Helloween and Jag Panzer. But come this coming Thursday, I'm gonna go see Iced Earth and Children Of Bodom! Then in July, it's off to Ozzfest to see Slayer, Lamb Of God, BLS, JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST and maybe.....BLACK FUCKING SABBATH! Then Augest 17th, it's off to see Van Halen! :D

Van Halen?? O you mean Van FUCKING Halen

Children of Bodom are so fucking high on my must see list. I succeed in missing them every time they are in The Netherlands. Stupid me :loco:

It might be VAN FUCKING HALEN, it depends on their setlist.

Yeh, COB have been on my must see list a while too, and lucky me, they tour with one of my favorite bands who i've also been wanting to see for a long time, and missed the last time they were out on tour(with Megadeth)! I'll tell you how it is.

That was a great show. That was the second time I saw CoB (since it was their second time coming here). CoB received a great response from the fans so hopefully they'll headline next time they come here. Iced Earth was okay... but I would've loved to see them with Matt Barlow.

I've seen them with Mat Barlow at Wacken a few years ago. They kciked sooo much ass. It was unbelieveable !!

But I am not gonna pass any judgement on Tim Owens until I've seen him live. I am not too wild about the few last IE releases. For me Dark Sage was the last really great IE album.
