Definitely heavier than the last one. The sticker that comes on the CD says it's more like 'Hail Horror Hail', and I'd have to agree. Pretty fookin' sweet, me thinks!

I think part of the "shitty guitar" and "shitty drumming" is more of their Venom worship than actual lack of skill.
Haven't spent much time with this disc and I wouldn't no a Venom influence if it bit me on the ass. However, generally speaking, great musicians don't seek to mimic bad ones.

Sigh, in their early years, had a heavy Venom/Celtic Frost influence. Raw, unfiltered, unpolished guitar lines were a big part of this influence. It disappeared on the last few albums, but seems to be making a slight comeback now. Mirai is probably longing for the days of old.

Honestly, this album is a contender for album of the year in my book. I can't stop listening.

Yes it's true :heh: I'm really loving the last track. When all the themes come together it's just madness!!:loco:. There's a great melody that comes in briefly at around 2 minutes that rules. There really is so much going on in those last three tracks especially.
