Just bought their CD.....

Not a fan of the singer, but holy shit they have some great riffage, and damn the guitars sound fing sweet on the album!

Sounds like a 5150..... Anyone know any details on this one?

I got bored of "Rebirth of the Temple" pretty fast. And I've always felt that the production has always had this weird kind of feel to it...I don't know how to describe it, but it just doesn't sound very natural at all. I'm aware that modern metal drums technically don't sound all that natural in the first place, but with Silent Civilian it almost sounds like the drums were EQed way beyond what they should have been...like the guy mixing it had everything EQed just right, but then decided to go another 4dB on all the cuts and boosts just for the hell of it.

Yeah not a fan of the drums either. I just like the guitar tone.
