Similar Bands

You To-Mera lovers, what bands do you consider similar?


For me, the Spanish Ebony Ark (http://www.myspace.com/ebonyark) is the most similar band.The French Akphaezya (http://www.myspace.com/akphaezya) are too a really great band wich all To-Mera fans will enjoy.

Ebony Ark might have some slight similarities with To-Mera, but they're way less progressive and have quite a different songwriting approach.

I don't think To-Mera can be compared with any other female fronted metal band. Instead, I see a strong resemblance with Textures (I bet Tom will be glad to read this) in the way they mix atmosphere with technique and sound agression, also some Pain of Salvation (e.g.: the soft part in the middle of "Phantoms") and even Opeth. Anyway, I think To-Mera have a sound of their own, strongly distinctive.

I know PoS, but I don't think that To-Mera and them are that much similar...


Maybe you know the band Ram-Zet?

I'm agree that they aren't THAT MUCH similar, but musically speaking, there is some links to do.

Have to notice that Ram-Zet is pretty more Black Metal.

Tesseract, from the UK, have some passing similarities. That, and they are completely awesome.
