Kragens - Dying in a Desert (original power/thrash metal)
Wolf - Evil Star (heavy metal)
Exodus - Tempo of the Damned (thrash metal)
Debase - Unleashed (doom/power metal)
Evergrey - The Inner Circle (uuuh... emotional metal?)
Grip Inc - Incorporated (experimental thrash?)
Malédiction - Esclave du Vice (heavy metal)
Dreamscape - End of Silence (progressive metal)
Cans - Beyond the Gates (heavy metal)

Close follow-ups : Iced Earth, Exciter, Susperia, Distant Thunder, Into Eternity, After Forever, Feinstein, Attacker, Symphorce, Persuader, Aina, New Eden.

Semi-disapointments : Death Angel, Wasp, Jorn, Anvil, Nocturnal Rites, Manigance, Edguy.

Big disapointment : Annihilator...

I still need to listen to these new Ayreon, Borknagar, Eldritch, Therion, Hirax and Skyclad releases Tons of killer stuff coming out these days!

The WORST of 2004 so far(and i hope it doesn't get topped) is Annihilator-"All For You". Absolutely horrible. Oh my God. Thayt doesn't even describe how bad this steaming pile of circular shit this disc is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

a) a big fan
b) a incurable defender of hopeless situations
c) a moron

Save the money on the new Nightwish album, they are in stagnation phase. The album is better than "Century Child" but nothing close to the first three. Marco needs to shut up, Tarja needs to sing operatic, the symphonic orchestra needs to be shot and thay have to play faster like in 'Crownless' and with more passion like in 'Sleeping Sun'. At this rate they are going to bore fans to death or become Metallicazed by the next album.

yep I have and I do it made me want to go and discover the Pre Act III stuff which I had never heard Its great But I just heard Ultra-Violence And wow The art doesnt a candle to it hahaha Edguy will prolly move from my 2004 list to my big all time list at the end of the year I like that one
