When's the new album due out? What is their most recent release? Favorite songs and albums?

My favorite CD is "Suicide By My Side". Favorite songs are "Shadow Island" and "Midnight Madness". Hope they release a new CD soon...

I wish there was still a Sinergy forum here at UM.

The new album was due, what, 2 years ago? I've all but lost faith that its ever coming.

Alexi talks about it fairly frequently in interviews, nobody really has time for it at this point so I doubt it will be out anytime soon

I think this is why it's been delayed, this is the current lineup from wiki...

* Lauri Porra (Stratovarius) - Bass
* Janne Parviainen (Ensiferum, Barathrum, Waltari) - Drums
* Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) - Lead guitar, Vocals
* Roope Latvala (Children of Bodom, Stone) - Rhythm guitar


A lot of those folks seem pretty busy with their main projects. Maybe they'll look into trying to obtain a more solid group of folks.


I just found this as well;

The fourth Sinergy album − Sins of the Past began production in 2004, but due to Children of Bodom's busy schedule the album has yet to be completed. There is no word yet on when this album will be released, but the band has not officially broken up and have insisted that they do intend on finishing this recording.

Maybe 2009 will finally see the completion and release of this CD? In the meantime, what is KG up to these days?
