Singer/Shouter wanted

I am looking for a singer and shouter to perfom on our project called The core. We have 5 songs completely recorded only vocals are missing. All of the melodies, lyrics and arrangements are ready. You just have to sing/shout.
The style is somewhere between Soilwork, In Flames, Disturbed and System of a down I think.....

Thanks man...I'll work on it next week...I've got some big shows this weekend, so I won't have a chance this weekend...but I'll try and send you a demo before the next weekend is over...
 
I'm just getting this done. I will post when I do. I couldn't stand the way I sounded on the verses so they are left out, I couldn't seem to get my voice to do that growl shit that I did on the chorus (not surprising, my first time doing anything like that with my voice).

Hey, you got a pretty interesting voice. Especially on the "You´re not the only one" part. I really like that. Got a little bit of Blaze Bayley character...:heh: although I don´t like HIS voice very much. :lol:

I´m not sure about the growls in the chorus. I think it doesn´t fit your voice too much although my drummer likes it.

Basically I think there´s a little bit too much harmonizing in the chorus. Sounds a little like a vocoder or something. :goggly:

But in general your voice is really nice and I like it. I just wait for some other guys that wanted to try the song until I decide.

That's just a few tracks of harmonies...I only did 8 or 9 tracks total for those 4 part harmonies, as I haven't had much time the last few days to do stuff...so I knocked them out when I got home from work tonight. I usually have more tracks of each harmony part to make them bigger...

The only effects I slapped on there are a quick compressor and a little reverb.

Thanks very much for your effort. The growling isn´t my cup of tea, too. I wanted it more metalcore style not too much death metal growling. Something like Soilwork maybe....
I think you also went a little bit too far with the harmonizing. :OMG:

I didn´t want it to sound like Blind Guardian. :lol:

I hope you are not disappointed but this is not quite the direction I am aiming for.

no worries, I was wanting to try something along this style of vocals...and I'm just glad you guys didn't say that it was pathetic...

I'm still trying to work on my growls/screams, and want to do more with it than death metal style...which isn't my fav anyway...

Thanks again for the song to work on dude. I hope you find the right vocalist and we get to hear it...
