yet it is at 75% speed but i think i'll proceed to 100 tomorrow

well... feel free 2 criticize :)

i hope you know that you wont get positive responds on this around here....
all i can tell you is, practice, dont give up hope... you're almost there, after you reach the speed practice another week than it will sound good enough to be recorded.

well.. thats a good respond or not? as i started to learn the notes yesterday? :)

You just need to keep practicing, get faster and faster, then play along with the song and if you think you've got it, then record it. Good effort man:)

well unless you use GP's metronome then....but you have to learn the metronome technique of "working your way up"

Pick up John Petrucci's Rock Discipline, you'll see what I'm talking about.

well.. my technique is:
|: play 20 times at 1 speed, then GP's speedtrainer 10 speeds up, 1 per step :|
-> 100%

It's not 20 times, it's until you feel confortable (that you could play it with ease and with your eyes closed per say)

then progress 10bpm more, and do the same thing then 10 more until you reach your BPM goal.

I remember I used to practice chromatics this way every day from

110 bpm
120 bpm
132 bpm
144 bpm
152 bpm
160 bpm
168 bpm
174 bpm
180 bpm
192 bpm
200 bpm

following these guidelines everyday and practicing chromatics for about an hour each day, gave me some pretty good results I gotta say. I could even reach 230-250bpm if I wanted to at one point. :p

Ok but don't count how many times! Rather do the excersice until you feel comfortable and then speed it up, you will find that if you stay at a slow speed (120 per say) for a long time you won't have to stay long at all at higher speeds (152 per say) until you reach your BPM goal (200 per say)

that's a great solo... don't try to do it unless you have some serious practice!

I´d hate to say it again, but Petrucci´s Rock Discipline has some great excersices on sweeps.

hehe yea man you talked about it and i actually found that I still have rock disipline on my pc so i checked it out again... he has Arpegios in alternate picking thats wicked :p realy works on alt picking but its weird JP has the inside of the string picking problem where i have the outside of the string picking problem, inside is easy to shred outside is so much more movement for me so its weird, but anyways i can obviously use the same exc for my promblem :p ROCK DISIPLINE RULES!!!
