Anybody else here listen to the album and not hate it? I kind of found it to be an mix of immature so-cal punk, and their normal southern hard rock/pop-metal. Don't know. Seems like they had a lot of fun on it.

The new one is total crap to me, but the last one wasn't too bad. With that said, nothing will ever touch the Bach years.

I enjoyed the self titled release and Slave to the Grind. Everything else, I haven't been much of a fan of.

I think the newest one sound amateurish and simple. The last one was ok, at least for Thick Is the Skin if nothing else. This band is as dead as Warrant to me.

You want good throwback stuff, check out the new Europe which is FANTASTIC, the new Winger which is very good, and Jani Lane's solo cd ("Back Down To One" I think it's called). Now THAT is where these older bands should be in terms of song writing and sound.

I second what's been said already.....I just can't get into Solinger on vocals. And I agree with Woosta - the new Winger is solid.....looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks!!

Though, to be fair, while Skid Row interests me not at all, I'm always curious to hear what Bach does. He just has such a unique, amazing voice.

Agreed. The work he did on Frameshift - An Absence Of Empathy was killer.:headbang:

Subhuman Race was a really good album with really bad production.....but after Sebitchian left (metal-sludge reference for all of ya! =)) they really haven't interested me. Slave To The Grind is one of my favorite albums ever.

Dealing with Bach he always worked hard for music, in every moment of his career, family, music, no need for extremes (after he left SR) he worked in the dark for years collaborating with lots of musicians, i think i deserve respect to him.

His voice is maybe piercing and unique as no others. :worship:

I agree, thank you for giving some love to Europe! :kickass:

Stryper's newest one deserves a mention as well.
