You can select the VST option while installing. It's a checkbox. I think it was set to VST as default.

I'm all set after a very painful install. Cubase had a very difficult time initializing FG-X after it attempted and gave me a message saying that my iLok drivers needed updating. I updated the drives and nothing worked after that until I placed the FG-X plug in within a folder for it to be seen by Cubase. Weird.

I have a big problem though, I was charged twice for FG-X once for $249 and once for $149.
I'm emailing Deb and the support system right now, mistakes happen so I'm not mad but I do suggest everyone else checks their transactions to find out if this has happened to them as well.

Or I would do if slate digital wasn't down

It's probably case sensitive, check your receipt to see if maybe you accidentally made something upper-case? Just guessing here btw.

Make sure you check your actual bank statement to verify that, the paypal thing looks a little bit confusing, but in the end it really only took the $149.99. I'm not saying you're wrong, just get it another once over before to make sure.

Yeah man, I'm well versed in paypal and I've been on the phone to both them and my bank this morning. The money was taken twice unfortunately.

yeah im in a bad way when it comes to the acctual transaction too, the link and everything was fine, have the product now, but the full 249 is still on hold in my account

Sometimes it takes 3 days for the $249 to go back (UK might be longer), but no one got charged $249, I am 100% positive of this, it will end up clearing for $149, but if you are unsure we can always look in to this.

If you're user area login isn't working, email support.

Let me know if anyone needs tips using the FG-X. The first two controls that you'll have to work with are the ITP slider and Dynamic knob.

I posted in support site, it went down for a lil bit earlier.

After phoning my bank and paypal they both confirmed I was charged twice. Hopefully our support section can look in to this asap because I'm screwed right now money wise.

Other than that fg-x is awesome and I do appreciate the group buy!
