Well the drums and song sound good, but it might be my speakers but the guitars sound too thin and fizzy and too quiet.

Indeed.. it's the sort of thing were you get used to it and it then doesn't sound too 'bad'. Like it's not too offensive.. but just weak in comparison.
It definitely struck me when I bounced it and compared it to other stuff. Having no bass doesn't help either.
Anyway, when I first put the new samples on this mix(which previously had a way fuller drum sound).. they sounded really small and weak, and since the aim was to test and play with the particular drum sound, I quickly kinda 'streamlined' the guitars until the drums seemed more powerfull. Maybe it should have been a matter of just turning the drums up a lot.
I do like the sort of compactness of the sound of Pantera Vulgar/FDB.. where everything seems really sharp and streamlined. Getting that definition in everything but also with POWER is the challenge I guess.
