The much awaited new Slayer album comes as a bit of a mixed bag. There are come very old sounding Slayer tracks on the album, but there are also some very different sounding tracks which could fit on a nu-metal album. Kerry King himself has told people that he enjoys listening to Slipknot, and likes the way they can mix lots of aggression in the songs.

This certainly shows in some of the tracks, such as Payback and Warzone, with no guitar solos and lots of swearing. In the end of the day its a better album that Diabolus In Musica, however I think they will lose some of there old fans because there isnt enough on the album to keep them interested, apart from the odd track here and there.

Best songs on the album include Disciple and Seven Faces.
