Slint - Spiderland

Anyone like this album? I picked it up not too long ago after a friend showed me a few of their songs. Never have I heard post-rock and math-rock blended so well. I think what drew me to it the most was its dark undertones, though, which usually isn't all that characteristic of post-rock. It's a very subtle, almost unnerving kind of dark. To anyone who hasn't heard this album and likes post-rock that doesn't sound like another Explosions in the Sky clone (don't get me wrong, EITS is a great band), check it out.

Also, for people who have heard this band and album, can you recommend me some similar bands (if there are any)?

Really good album...it's the only one I've heard from them to tell you the truth, cuz someone off the forum recommended them to me.
