I'm always on the look out for heavy and melodic modern rock bands but 2013 has been very slow on that count and I haven't even found one. Until now that is, cause Sweden's Smash Into Pieces fills the void nicely. They look like pretty young boys but they sound very professional. The singer has a nice voice though he's not very throaty or powerful, his tone is perfect and very melodic. Very cool tune here and a nice solo by the guitarist. Worth hearing for fans of modern melodic hard rock.
