A simple poll. What is nicer, is it smoke when it creates beautiful moving ornaments in the air and hugs itself until it disappears? Or is it the lazy fog that lays upon everything?

Voted fog because it doesn't smell. Here is pretty rural and farmers always burn garbage in the morning and I end up walking into their garbage smoke clouds and smelling like a fucking campfire but a garbage campfire. Not the best start to the day. So fog.

I like gloomy smoke filled days, although it plays up with my asthma. It's been quite foggy here lately, somedays it has'nt lifted till nearly lunchtime and when it does lift it usually reveals a clear blue sky which I find to be somewhat depressing.I'd rather days of either full sunshine or solid rain.

Smoke. It has far more symbolic and aesthetic meanings than fog. Health concerns aside, it is definitely my pick.

Honestly I could not make a permanent decision on such a thing. It represents the very dichotomy of nature and civilization itself. How could we have one without the other?

What in the fuck is "true smoke"?
