Don't suppose you could re-upload the original snare recording from the first post, as a multi-track wave file? This would allow me to build a BFD2 kitpiece that sent the room microphone tracks to the correct channels in the mixer. I would of course upload this kitpiece to the sneapsters.

It allows you to import your own samples, yes. With this and the "link" functionality, users could easily create their own layered kits. One slot for direct sound, another for overhead left, another for overhead right.
It would be possible though to hack the xml data, and workout how to create a singular kitpiece which directs the channels to the correct mixer channels. This would enable you to not have to use multiple kitpiece slots for one kitpiece.
just wanted to post and say how much this sample kicks ass, using it on the demo for my BM project - it sounds excellent and really thick and cuts through very very well (with some slight EQ and smashing on it for volume purposes)

I'm just too lazy to cut it up haha, and anyway I think this one actually sounds pretty good. Definitely better than SD2's default snare and that's what counts to me.
