Snare sampless BOYYYYEEEE!!

Sounds pretty good, are you using a top and bottom? I think it needs some tuning. Overall good start. I am no one to say anything but when i get the chance i'll be micing up a snare for fun. I replace everything hahah

Actually this probably wasn't the ideal session to try and get samples from.. we had like 30 minutes to get drums set up and I had NO time to do any tuning. I really hardly ever track live drums, so I'm really just trying to make the best of it! The toms are SJC.. I might be posting them, later.. I really wish I would have had more time to spend setting things up... I feel like I could have done a much better job. God damn cheap bands

SJC? sounds like a pretty good kit! yeah i think with a good tuning on the both the heads with two sm57s tom and bottom, with some time toying with placement you could really come out with a tight snare, also some post proccessing to boost and cut the frequencies. I have a Custom Truth Kit that i own, so when i get the money for some good heads i will make samples and post. I suggest the Evan E2 heads with the oil inside them, they sound tight.
Currently have them on but, they're old. :[
