How so? I was thinking about Battery 3, but these look better (and I hate the kick sound on EZD DFH, and DFHS2 will be WAYY too much money)
Well for starters, the initial sounds are very clean. Makes you feel like you're really working with a real set. The cymbals are where it really gets good IMO. They are heaps better better then EZD + expansions.
Routings, efx, mic options, etc. are all outstanding. I've owned and used Battery when I got Komplete 4, and it sucks man. I really want to try DFHS but I guess that's been discontinued (I couldn't find previous prices anywhere even ebay)
I just got it for dirt cheap (What are friends for?)

How do you figure? 129 upgrade for DFHS owners, 350 for the full package. It's still cheaper than BFD!

IMO it'd be worth it - more flexibility, better internal plugins, more sounds, waay more cymbals (especially at one time).

This is true.
DFHS2 is on the to buy list, but since I got AD for much much less then what it is new, I sprung for it.
AD and EZ drummer can get it done...heck 5 years ago there was nothing close to those vst's and people were still using samples...DFHS2 is almost too much for me..but I am more a writer/tinkerer than a full blown producer..the options of the new DFHS are gonna be awesome and staggering...
