It´s true that metallica today sucks hard balls! BUT see this:
This must be one of the best metal live shows ever. Hard to top this, and no, I am not talking as a fan, I rarely hear metallica these days, but the performance, the vibe, the energy it´s fantastic.
I know that nowadays everybody mocks of metallica, but in those days they were a great band and they did great albuns.

That must be cuts of different shows though, look on this video at Breadfan and you can see that Kirk has two different guitars in the same song at different points, and it's not just a tech bringing a backup in.

Yeah, they played over like two nights or something like that, and they edited the best shots of the two together. They just didn't keep very good track of what guitars were used where.
I bought that deluxe version specifically for that rehearsal footage. And when I heard the album instead, fuuuuuuuuuuu

Got it from their live tech, and yeah saw them live last year and i could clearly tell it was backtrack, atleast on all the fast stuff.

That was the other song that I had in mind between the 2.
Is yet to come a show so awesome like this. This was Thrash metal in his prime.especially james' voice was soo fucking awesome from '86-'93.

I don't care. I just loved that time. Today James sounds like a teenager boy, and Lars always fuck up the show.
