heeey so I´m back! Actually this was my fourth Priest show, I saw them twice with Ripper and twice with Halford, and yesterday it was probably the weakest show... the sound was kinda blurry sometimes but you can blame it on the arena, and Halford might have sung 50% of what he did on the reunion show, I felt kinda embarrased for him at times...I sure as hell did enjoy the song because they were playing all favorites, here´s the set: Hellion/Electric Eye, Metal Gods, A Touch Of Evil, Breaking The Law, Judas Rising, Revolution, Hot Rockin, Beyond The Realms Of Death, Deal With The Devil, Hellrider, Diamonds And Rust, I´m A Rocker, Victim Of Changes, Painkiller, Living After Midnight, Hell Bent For Leather, I actually might have forgotten a song or two...I don´t have any pics and there were no Queensryche, they are due to do an US tour, Paradise Lost were supposed to do an European leg but they stayed home so instead, Royal Playboy Cartel from NYC did the support (I´d seen them two times before, they were OK but nothing special), so that was it...I really think Halford must have had some voice problems last night. As I said, he was great the last year, but this time, he did not even say a word, he might have said two sentences during the whole show, first being "Judas fuckin Priest is back" and second "Heavy metal never dies", he didn´t say thank you, he was using only gestures. There were 8000 metalheads at the place.
One thing, I never got the trick Scott Travis does with throwing stick 20 meters up in the air and then catches it. How the hell does he practise it? Outside in his backyard probably.
