yeah, it's pretty great. I love the amount of painfully awkward moments this show has.

i watched the first season yesterday and i cringed at least once or twice per episode.

the american version is pretty decent, too---the racial training seminar was great (not as good as the BBC equivalent episode, though).

I would say watch the American one first because it would be disappointing to watch after you've seen the BBC series. Then again, the American version lifts a lot of jokes straight from its predecessor. That being said, there is only one David Brent.
