..Went to Grand Turk. Small island, pretty nice. Great beaches. water etc etc. Swam with a fuckin barracuda..that was creepy. Then a couple of other stops leads me to Nassau...

WHAT A FUCKING SHITHOLE!! You wanna talk about a beautiful island gone to waste, this is it! Paradise Island is nice, but the port island..sooo nasty. Like New Orleans..with nice water. I watched crime happen all over..and the trash...holy shit. Tourism brings in enough money to the government so that if your property is worth less than 100,000, you dont pay property tax..so you can imagine an island covered in fuckin shantys. Never go there, its a huge shithole. Puerto Rico is the same.

I think Ill be going to the British or US Virgin Islands next time.

-Here is a picture of this shithole. Notice the trash..even in the trunk of the tree. And this was one of the nicest shots I had..

who's trashing the place up? locals or tourists?

A couple of years ago, my wife and I flew out to Vegas to get married (yes, by an Elvis impersonator). That place was immaculate. When we were driving around, even the tougher parts of town were clean. The only complaint that I had was all of the illegals up and down the strip trying to hand you flyers for Brothels. You couldn't walk anywhere without them bothering you.

I've been to Nassau and it is definitely a shanty-town. A couple of the taxis we went in the driver was smashed and was drinking right in the open(we opted to wait for other taxis). I guess their drinking and driving laws are if you are drunk and cause an accident, then you get charged but you are allowed to drink and drive otherwise:ill: . Did you happen to go to Stuart Coves diving? That was definitely worth checking out. Paradise Island is pretty cool and the casinos were really nice inside too. We stayed a couple of nights in Nassau and a couple of nights in Paradise Island. I knew we were in for a treat when we had to have cops stay right outside our hotel in Nassau:lol: We never had anyone beg off of us though it was quite the opposite, the locals would come up and ask what we had done so far and give us tips about places to check out. They seemed pretty cool actually.
