What if Bruce had quit Maiden at the same time as Adrian? Would they still have got Janick in, and might all those Michael Kiske rumours have come true?

I can only speculate about the effects this might have had on the overall quality of 90s Maiden, but it would have been very interesting to find out.

Yes I would, I've been a Wolfsbane fan since before Blaze joined Maiden. In fact, Blaze was the first person I thought of as a replacement for Bruce. Why, I don't know. :)

The original question still stands, though. If Bruce and Adrian had left at the same time, who would have replaced them? Probably not Janick. And Harry would have wanted a British singer, so who would have been available/acceptable to him at that time? Vivian Campbell and Martin Walkyier? Or how about Paul Samson and Bernie Shaw? How ironic would that have been?

Which part of my statement are you questioning, Sprucey?

I still think it would have been cool if Viv joined Maiden and Adrian had joined Def Leppard. That would have been neat.

Blaze was always the hot fave to replace Bruce - it was mentioned all the time in Kerrang before he got the nod.

Wolfsbane were awesome - Down Fall The Good Guys is a better album than Maiden have released since 1988.
