i fell for the RC hype machine when it comes to empyrium. they are good, but ive never been into that type of music. folkmetal like cruachan or bran barr, sure. but the wholly acoustic type folk of the latter albums does little for me, except for a few fleeting moments. i used to like the first one, but it seems very amateurish to these ears now.
